NEWS: Jeppesen, Ordinate Team for ICAO-Required Aviation English Proficiency Assessment, 9 Aug. 2007

VAET is being developed under a co-operative research and development agreement with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in response to ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements that mandate all pilots and air-traffic controllers serving international traffic show Level 4 English language proficiency on the ICAO scale by March 5, 2008.
